What stick should my new lacrosse player purchase? We recommend you explore the Warrior Warp Jr. or Next depending on your son’s age and size. These are complete sticks (head and shaft) that come with a fixed pocket for a consistent feel when passing and shooting. There will be no need to tinker with your shooting strings/pocket/sidewalls to get that perfect feel. Some professional lacrosse players use this type of head as well! As your child gets more comfortable with lacrosse, they may want to explore the wonderfully creative side of the sport—stringing your own head with a variety of patterns and colors.
